Learn how we adapted a traditional podcasting platform to monetise journalistic content and connect with a global audience.

The Cycling Podcast takes you to the heart of professional cycling in the company of journalists Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie, Daniel Friebe and Orla Chennaoui. Since 2015 we’ve helped this award-winning team grow their international subscriber base of friends and establish it as the UK’s most listened to cycling podcast.
From advice on strategy, through to the selection and development of the right technology platforms to use, it’s been a lot of fun working with Richard, Lionel, Daniel and Orla.
The first part of the project was to advise on and develop a solution that combined the best of existing podcasting platforms, such as iTunes and audioboom, with a website and back-end CRM that managed both content and membership communication.
The Cycling Podcast champions all things cycling so over the years we have added functionality to meet the requests of its subscribers such as an e-commerce solution, a more flexible model for subscription and archive content management. All platforms are fully responsive and integrated with social media.
We are delighted to have played a part in the international success that the podcast is today.
